Beginner Guitar Workshop
Mondays 6/9 and 6/23

Want to learn to play guitar?
This is your class!
You'll learn how to play a song by the end 
of this ONE class!
You'll learn the guitar parts, string notes,
Most common open chords, learn how to transition
from chord to chords easily, common strumming patterns,
and play a cool tune.
You'll even learn how to start soloing, if you want!
Even though it's a class, I cater to the needs of each student's
Musical styles through the breakout session in the middle of class.

Beginner Banjo Workshop
Mondays 6/30

Want to learn how to play REAL Pickin' Clawhammer?
This is the class for you!
You'll learn how to play clawhammer picking rolls (YES! There are picking rolls in clawhammer!), open chords and how to transition and feel the rolls in any song you want to play.
I'll give you a few songs from old time to contemporary styles that are simple to play so you get started right away.
You'll have a good time learning and playing the banjo in the original style!

Beginner Ukulele Class!

Want to learn a fun and easy instrument?
This is the class for you!
You'll learn basic chords, the two most common strumming patterns and picking patterns, and how to transition easily between chords.
You'll also learn an easy solo scale pattern and play a contemporary tune in class.
Even though it's a class, I cater to each student's specific Musical styles.
So, if you have a song you want to play, let me know!

Learn to Jam! **WORKSHOP**
​Saturdays 7/19 and 8/9
1-2:30pm

This workshop is the FIRST STEP in learning how to jam with others.
You'll learn how to feel comfortable playing songs, counting in, and
using the right strum pattern to give you art to the song.
The perfect workshop to engage as a true beginner or for those getting back into
performance after many years.
We'll even run a "campfire jam" scenario,
so it's even more authentic!
You'll have fun and learn a lot, too!

Change your strings!
Saturdays 7/19 and 8/9
11am-Noon

**This class is for Guitar and Banjo**
         Learn how to change your own strings confidently.
A simple but important class to keep your instruments sounding their best.
I'll show you how to confidently change your strings, tune and stretch out strings for stabilization and let you know how often you personally need to change them. We'll do and active string changing on your instrument during class, so please bring your instrument that needs new strings and you pack of strings of course!

Ever wonder how to even begin connecting your sound equipment OR what sound equipment is?
​Do you know what you need?
​Learn how to set up a mic, plug into your mixer or amp, reduce feedback, and how to sing or play with a mic and more!
I'll show you how to set up for your personal style of music and for the types of events you will normally perform.

This is our most popular class at the studio!
It's a great class to really feel what its like to be in a band. We'll pick a set list of 5 songs from your requests, each of you will take an instrumental OR vocal lead, we'll sculpt the songs to artistic excellence, learn how to FEEL them and talk production wise what you want in the songs you lead.
You'll come out of this class confidently being able to have your own jams, or start a band of your own.
I've had students of this class start here as new to jamming and now have bands, gigs, have played festivals and have their own Jams.
