How long has Urban Monk Studios been around?
We've been raising the musical vibration in Northern Colorado since 2007. 
Southern born and bred in South Carolina, Saja has been living in Colorado for over 24 years.

What does Saja teach?
 Claw hammer "Pickin' " banjo, guitar, ukulele, voice, and adult performance classes and workshops.
Saja's styles include folk, blues, rock, soul, and reggae.
Saja has a background in music theory and takes pride in teaching students about scales, chords, solos, reading notes and progressions-and how to turn them into sweet jams.

Can I learn by myself?  Can I learn with a group of friends?
YES. You can come for a solo lesson or make new friends as part of a small group. Both are awesome ways to learn.

What should I bring to my lesson?
Bring your instrument, songs that you want to learn, tuner and pics for guitar students. Saja also has a wide assortment of study materials and songs to bring to the table each time you come.
